The pieces published in this volume, written in London by the eight-year-old Mozart, are among his earliest compositions. Preserved in a sketchbook, many of the works were left incomplete. Hans-Udo Kreuels, who describes them as "the musical raw material of genius", presents his realizations of the pieces in this volume together with a commentary. |
